Unknown.pngDuring these trying times, Phillips 66 is donating $3 million nationally in response to the economic impact COVID-19 has had across the nation, including 100,000 to organizations near its Wood River Refinery in Illinois’ Metro-East region.

The donation is geared to support first responders, food banks, health care providers and other organizations serving those in need.

$25,000 of the donation will go to the Madison County Health Department in order to provide emergency shelter to frontline emergency responders who may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Another $25,000 will go to Alton Memorial Health Service Foundation for critical PPE and other tools for health care workers.

The remaining $50,000 will be split between food pantries in Alton and Edwardsville.
